Power Pages Web Design has a flatbed scanner to scan photos or documents that you would like to include in your web site. We can edit and add to your web site as soon as possible. Using Photoshop or other imaging software, we can make any changes in brightness, size, file size and more, then use the best possible images on your web site. Digital images are far superior in quality and are recommended when possible. If your photos' copyrights belong to you, then we can digitally reproduce them. If not, permission must be granted and credit must be given to the copyright owner. Please provide proof of copyright when possible. This may not always be possible. If the photo is something you must include in your site, we will include it and assume it is yours. The responsibility is yours. If the image in question is used illegally, the copyright owner will send a cease and desist email and ask you to discontinue improper use or beware of legal action. You can probably pay for rights or give credit or whatever the copyright owner asks. We follow the rules to the best of our knowledge. Please try to do the same. You may provide public domain or royalty free images for us to include if you include the source, so we can give proper credit as they dictate. Sources that claim that their art is free usually mean for personal use and not for commercial (business) use. If there are additional fees for using the art, it is your responsibility. We will notify you and ask if you wish to include the art. We must request proof of purchase (email is fine) to protect everyone involved. If you would like photos taken for your website, please contact us. We can take photos of your company building, vehicles, employees, merchandise, and whatever you need. Digital images are preferred, but you may want printed material and negatives for future use. Try to anticipate future needs when making a decision. We will not include pictures in our portfolio that would offend our target audience. Unacceptable photos include nudity, violence, hatred, sex, and other items not appropriate for the general audience. We reserve the right to refuse any work that does not comply with our standards of service. Tasteful art is not considered offensive, but we will decide if we will do this work or refer you to someone else. Thank you for your understanding.
If you wish to scan your own images or documents, read these Scan Tips.
